SBU: Should We Preach the Silent Years?

The Silent Years is the period of about 400-430 years when God was silent in regard to his prophetic revelation to his people. It’s the blank page between the Old and New Testaments. Should we preach this period, and if so, how do we go about preaching a blank page? It’s is a challenging task because it is significant to the biblical timeline but comes from the lack of a Text. Is it possible to preach this section of the biblical narrative? Should we preach it? If so, how?
